So that my name may be placed on the fall ballots, the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB) requires me to gather more than 2,000 eligible Wisconsin voters' signatures. If you're eligible to vote in Wisconsin and have not signed the nomination papers of any other Lt. Governor candidate, you can sign my nomination papers. The nomination papers can be found here. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print these forms. You can download the Acrobat Reader for free here.
There are some rules, however, that need to be followed in order for the nomination papers to be certified.
- You must be eligible to vote in the state of Wisconsin (over 18 years of age).
- Your address of residence must always be listed, your mailing address is not sufficient if you do not live at your mailing address.
- You must fill out the name of the municipality of residence in its entirety (i.e. write "Superior" not "Sup").
- You must check the box that identifies the town/city/village of your residence.
I'd be grateful if you'd take the form you printed out and circulate it amongst your family and friends and ask for their support as well. If you do so, then there's an additional thing you need to keep in mind. If you circulate the form, you (the circulator) must not certify (sign) the form until you're done circulating it. This means that the date of certification must be on or after the date of the last nomination signature that you received on the form.
The original copy of the completed form should be returned to my campaign headquarters no later than July 4th. Please send the forms to:Friends of Dave Ross
