Taxes and Spending

One of the fundamental principles of American government is that government should be limited.  This principle is important to protect individual rights and freedoms.  State government is essential to promote public safety, education, our courts and our roads. But the unprecedented growth of Wisconsin’s budget, taxes and fees diminishes individual initiative, stifles growth and mortgages the future of our children. 

Economy and Growth

The Doyle/Lawton administration has made Wisconsin into an anti-business state.  Uncooperative agencies, high taxes, fees and belligerent bureaucrats tell investors that Wisconsin can’t be trusted. Wisconsin must open the door to job growth by creating an investor friendly environment to attract new investment. I am running for Lieutenant Governor to reclaim that office as a voice for jobs, a promoter of investment and an advocate for business.

Right to Keep and Bear Arms

The second amendment is the cornerstone of American freedom. Individuals have the right to keep and bear arms for personal protection and recreation. I support both "open carry" and  "conceal and carry" for law abiding American citizens.

Family Values

I'm unabashedly pro-life and pro-family.  I'm the only candidate with executive experience that has been endorsed by all three major pro-life organizations working in Wisconsin.  I will work with all parties to ensure the sanctity of life in our state and do everything in my power to ensure that Wisconsin's constitution withstands the onslaught of liberal activist judges.  I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman.  The people should have the final say; not a judge!

Education

A strong educational system includes local control. Parents must have a number of choices in education; vouchers, home schooling, virtual schools and charter schools.  Our public school system in most parts of the state is an envy of the nation. We must continue to adequately fund our public education system. 

Second Amendment Rights

Living in some of the best hunting and recreational area in the country has allowed me to appreciate how important gun owner's rights are to every citizen.  I'm a proud supporter of the second amendment and I will work to make Wisconsin the next state that passes "conceal and carry" legislation.  It's been said, "Those that are armed are citizens and those that aren't are subjects."  I couldn't agree more.
